Imagine your future self, ie, you 10 years from now. If he/she were to send you a tweet or text message, 1) what would it say and 2) how would that transform your life or change something you’re doing, thinking, believing or saying today?
I suspect it would say “Get off your damned arse and create a time paradox where I won’t ever have actually said this.” I’m not sure how many exclamation marks that would involve, but it would be several.
This would transform my life largely through being the kick in the pants I so badly need, while confirming that my sense of humour would survive the next decade (whatever it may hold) intact.
